Pangea Accelerates Its Travel-Tech Unification Strategy With Nomadago Acquisition

With hundreds of travel products still operating in silos, Pangea is executing an ambitious roadmap to unify them — transforming the digital travel landscape into a seamless, human-centered experience.

NEW YORK, NY – 04 December 2025 – Pangea – the travel technology and social platform known for reimagining how people connect through travel – announced the acquisition of Nomadago, its second strategic acquisition in a matter of days.

Nomadago is the all-in-one platform that helps digital nomads coordinate travel plans and connect across the globe.  Its highly curated directory of co-living spaces, co-working hubs, and nomad-friendly destinations has become the  go-to resource for remote workers to find connection wherever they go.

“Nomadago built something truly special for the Digital Nomad community,” said Matt Gray, Founder & CEO of Pangea.

“They’ve helped hundreds of thousands of digital nomads find belonging anywhere in the world, aligned in our belief that the best journeys are shaped by the people you share them with.  I’m super excited to welcome the Nomadago community of Digital Nomads onto the Pangea platform, and to welcome Ben, Danny & Victor to the Pangea team”  continued Gray who is a prolific traveler and Digital Nomad himself with more than 111 countries under his belt.

“Modern travelers are multifaceted; they’re a different persona each time they travel. I could be a remote worker in Cape Town one trip, on a dive boat in the Galapagos the next, and in London for Business after that. Each time I have a different set of needs, which currently require multiple fragmented point solutions.   Nomadago marks an important step in unifying these resources for travelers that tick more than one box.”

As part of the acquisition, the Nomadago app will be fully integrated into Pangea’s platform, giving Nomadago users access to expanded social discovery, planning tools, community sourced recommendations through Pangea.  Nomadago co-founders Danny Burton , Ben Spicer and Victor Busk will join the Pangea Advisory Board and remain involved in the Pangea’s growth.

Nomadago’s Co-Founder & full-time Traveler, Danny Burton, added:

“Nomadago was created to make the digital nomad lifestyle easier, more connected, and more fulfilling. Our platform has always been about helping people find where they belong, and I’m thrilled to have the Nomadago community join Pangea, allowing us to expand our mission beyond Digital Nomads, while also continuing to focus on providing the niche resources our users have come to love.

The Nomadago Directory will continue to serve as a leading resource for Digital Nomads to discover vetted Colivings, Coworking spots, Retreats, and more - and those curated recommendations will become integrated into Pangea’s core platform over time”

This acquisition continues Pangea’s momentum following its recent acquisition of Overlap, the leading app for frequent travelers to see when and where their paths cross with friends worldwide.  Together, Overlap and Nomadago strengthen Pangea’s foundation as it brings together the best of social travel tech into one next get platform.

Alex Triplett, former Global Corporate Development Head of ION Group and co-head/CFO of ION Corporates, former COO/CFO of Appfire, and Chairman of Pangea’s Board, commented:

“Nomadago’s integration represents another step in executing Pangea’s ambitious consolidation strategy of the hundreds of fragmented consumer travel apps,  bringing together exceptional niche products and the passionate founding teams behind them to create a category-defining platform and enable a future of travel that is more social and experiential”

With hundreds of travel products still operating in silos, Pangea is executing an ambitious roadmap to unify them — transforming the digital travel landscape into a seamless, human-centered experience.
